Excavation Services · Duluth, MN
Water kills more structures than fire. A basement that's damp every spring, a yard that's a swamp after every rain, a hillside that sheds mud onto the driveway — all of it comes down to drainage. We fix these problems at the source with graded swales, drain tile, French drains, and proper erosion control.
What you get
Perforated pipe in a rock trench wrapped in filter fabric — collects and carries water away from problem areas.
4-inch perforated at footing depth around a foundation, daylighted or sumped.
Re-graded yard with broad shallow channels to move water where you want it.
Silt fence, straw wattles, erosion blankets on slopes, and turf reinforcement where needed.

Seen on the ground
Every drainage & erosion job we take in Duluth and the Twin Ports gets the same treatment: a careful site walk, a written estimate, proper prep, and work that holds up through Minnesota winters.
If you’re not sure whether we’re the right fit, call — we’ll tell you honestly. If it’s outside our wheelhouse or service area, we’ll point you to somebody who can help.
Our process
Walk the site in wet conditions if possible. Identify where water comes from and where it's going.
French drain, swale, drain tile, or a combination — sized to actual volume.
Dig, lay fabric and pipe, backfill with clean rock, cover with topsoil or sod.
Seed, sod, or erosion blankets on any disturbed slopes.
