Not every piece of bad concrete needs to be ripped out. Sometimes it does. We'll tell you honestly which way to go. Surface scaling, hairline cracks, and worn finish can often be resurfaced for a fraction of replacement cost. Structural cracks, heaving, and settlement usually mean section replacement. We do both.

Resurfacing overlays
Polymer-modified cement overlay over sound but ugly concrete — thickness from 1/8 to 1/2 inch.
Section replacement
Saw cut the failed section, remove, repair base, pour new concrete flush with existing.
Spall and scale repair
Surface patch compounds that bond to existing concrete — for salt damage and freeze-thaw spalling.

- Depends on the cracks. Hairline and surface cracks can often be routed and sealed, and the surface resurfaced. Deep cracks with vertical displacement or spreading signal base failure — those usually need section replacement.
